Welcome to Flinders Bush Retreats

~ Angus McInnis and his family first settled on the Willow Plains in 1878 when the government opened up grazing land for farming.
146 years later, the 6th generation live, work and play on the same land. ~

As the sun sets on the red peaks of the ancient Flinders Ranges, native birds settle for the night in the gum trees lining the Willow Creek. The kangaroos and emus share the water trough with sheep and cattle, oblivious to the guests gathered at Flinders Bush Retreats.

Hidden away in an almost untouched corner of the Flinders Ranges, is boutique farm stay Flinders Bush Retreats. 13,000 acres of ancient beauty owned and operated by the McInnis family, 5th and 6th generation graziers who have diversified into tourism to supplement their farm income during times of drought and market lows.

2 self-contained houses provide a private and luxurious escape to experience the outback. Accommodating 6-10 guests and boasting fully equipped kitchens, modern conveniences, open plan living rooms and large bedrooms. Each house was designed to bring the Australian bush in - offering unique Flinders Ranges views.

Have you considered glamping? Perfect for nature lovers who don’t want to rough it, the Eco Tent combines camping with comfort! Recently refurbished the steel framed, insulated canvas tent includes a queen sized bed and luxurious linen, small kitchenette and attached ensuite. Located in a secluded gorge, 21 km East of Hawker, the Eco Tent offers privacy, scenic views and an abundance of native wildlife.
